Choosing A Woodstove

There are hundreds of woodstoves to choose from out there, make sure you get a good one! A Better Chimney carries only the best wood stoves on the market. Som of the woodstove brands we carry include Quadra-Fire and Harman. The EPA is getting stricter about implementing no burn days so if you have a old woodstove, or a homemade wood stove or a fireplace then you might not be able to burn on certain days. Also Beware of homemade woodstoves they are Dangerous, use a lot of wood, produce very little heat, and pollute the world! If the woodstove does not have a EPA certified tag on it then it is illegal to install in a home. Having a homemade woodstove will also void most policies with insurance companies.
